About
The Havelock Tavern opened as a gastropub in 1996 and unlike many gastropubs, which are really restaurants in old pub buildings, The Havelock is still run very much as a pub - but with the good food; consequently we never take bookings.
The atmosphere is lively and informal. It's a good place to spend a relaxed evening over a meal with friends or to have a quick bite to eat before or after a trip to the cinema perhaps.
The pub is located (see map) in the quiet residential area of Brook Green on the corner of Masbro and Irving roads. The nearest tube stations are Shepherd's Bush (central line), Hammersmith, Goldhawk Road and Olympia, which also has British rail services. By car the pub is only five minutes from both the A40 and A4 for those who may be coming from further afield.

The eclectic menu changes twice a day every day.
Lunchtime menus are aimed more at those who need a quick one-course meal before returning to work.
Evening menus are structured for those who are looking to eat two/three courses.
There is always at least one starter and one main course available for vegetarians. However, it should be noted that because of the nature of the "rolling" menu, certain items on the menu may sell out before the end of a service.
Draught Beers
Adanms, London Pride, Doom Bar, Wandle Ale, ususally one guest beer, Guiness, Heineken, Stella Artois, Bitburger Pils, Aspall Suffolk Cider.
Wines
The main wine list has 12 whites and 12 reds (four of each are also sold by the glass) and aims to offer a good mix of grape varieties, countries of origin and styles of wine. It changes once a year - the whites in the spring and the reds in the autumn.
See the specials boards for forthcoming ales, drinks and bar snacks.
